The CUTIS project is committed to increasing gender equality in areas linked with trade by:

1) supporting the new SheExports Platform of Export Promotion Office aimed at boosting the potential of Ukrainian women entrepreneurs on international markets by creating a platform that promotes, develops and connects women in business.
2) researching what is restricting women from engaging more fully in exporting in order help the Ukrainian government and businesses make data-driven decisions to reduce those barriers;
3) assisting Ministry of Economic Development and Trade in gender-based analysis;

Women are the drivers of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the modern world. Currently, over 34% of SMEs are women-owned, and this figure has a significant potential for growth, especially in the area of international trade and exports. The McKinsey Global Institute estimates that $12 trillion dollars could be added to global GDP by 2025 by addressing gender inequality.
