The event was held with the support of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional administration and the Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine in order to expand international economic cooperation, promotion of Ukrainian enterprises in promoting their products in foreign markets, deepening of partnership between Ukraine and Canada. Ivano-Frankivsk regional state administration drafted a program of this event, it took place at the tourist complex "Bukovel».

The Annual Canada-Ukraine Chamber of commerce Golf Tournament Fundraiser took place on Monday, August 22 2011. It was held at the Lionhead Golf & Country Club.

The event featurued Ted Woloshyn as MC for the evening and included special guest former NHL player Mike Krushelnyski.

Augsut 5,2011 - The Ukrainian Canadian Congress, Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and the Fourth Wave organized a reception to honour the Ambassader of Ukraine to Canada, The event was held at the Golden Lion Restaurant in Etobicoke, Ontario.

During his time among us, Dr. Ostash worked tirelessly for the good of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Canadian community, but the time has come for him to return to Kyiv.
