Mr. Dubczak, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, is Head of the CIBC World Markets Equity Capital Markets group with responsibility for the firm’s equity origination and underwriting activities. Mr. Dubczak is a member of the Wholesale Bank Management Committee, the Global Equities Management Committee as well as the firm’s Corporate Credit Deals Committee. Mr. Dubczak joined CIBC World Markets in 1992 and has worked in a variety of roles in both the Equities and Fixed Income businesses.

Prior to joining CIBC World Markets, Mr. Dubczak was with Olympia and York Enterprises, the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement Board (OMERS), Wittington Properties and Price Waterhouse. Roman holds Bachelor of Commerce (Toronto) and Master of Business Administration (York) degrees, as well as Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst designations. Mr. Dubczak is currently Vice Chair and a member of the Executive Committee of the Investment Industry Association of Canada and is a founding Director of the Canadian Association of Income Funds. Roman is currently a Director of Dignitas International and has been a Director and volunteer of several non-profit and charitable organizations.
