Mr. Chomiak began his career in the field of
Mechanical engineering immediately following his completion of Engineering from Mount Royal College in 1959 and Mechanical Engineering Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1961. His distinguished career spans in excess of 40 years.

Coming up the ranks, Mr. Chomiak?s unrestricted
enthusiasm created an environment for progress and
success. By virtue of hard work and natural ability,
John advanced rapidly. Over 20 years ago, John?s
leadership resulted in Hemisphere acquiring the
the mechanical and electrical engineering and
commissioning for the $145 M Canadian Science
Center for Human and Animal Health in Winnipeg.

In 1997, Hemisphere was the proud recipient of the
Consulting Engineers of Alberta Double Award of
Merit in the category of Value Engineering and
Technology and Innovation for this facility.

The Canadian Science Center?s high profile in terms of the sophisticated and intricate engineering has launched Hemisphere?s high containment expertise onto the international scene as Hemisphere Engineering U.S. Inc. located in Atlanta, Georgia.
